Everybody, let us cheer up altogether; Merdeka! Merdeka! BUt what merdeka means to me"meactually? Absolutely merdeka is very significant to us and have its memorable value. As merdeka was a red letter day, all of malaysian folk should take a note about it. Merdeka makes us live in convenient, peaceful with no war surrounding us and mostly FREe from colonization of British, Communist, Portugal, and even Japanese. As time goes by, now our country, Malaysia have achieved 51 years merdeka. Malaysia are more and more try to caught up in the fastline life to keep pace with the development of world. Malaysia also should be proud of its successfully in all field wheter in economic, admistration, sport and many more. For example like Datuk Jimmy Choo, one of Malaysian folk, has create his own name in Lomdon on his successful in making beautiful and elegant shoes at there. In addition, now we also have our astronout, Dr Sheikh Muszaphar Shukor whose is first Malaysian that has arrived in ISS. In the meantime Malaysia also has produced its own car likeProton Saga, Waja, Savvy, Gen-2 and etc. Malaysia also always be a host for conference of OIC, ASEAN and others. However, it is so sadly when we look at our generation today especially youth. They do not know what the real means of Merdeka actually. The way they celebrated of merdeka like "rempit' and go to party. In contrast, when we look at the generation before merdeka, they are patriotically goes to watch the parade. the new generation, should have lived during Japanese occupation, only then they will actually know how lucky they are that they do not born then. The Japanese is said to have ruled Malaya than for about forty years. The Japanese tortured and killed many cillivians for the slightest reasons. I'm still remember the history that telling about those who dared to offend the Japenese soldier were exucuted in public and their heads were hung on a strick along the roads. So, it is important for our youth to be aware of the country vision in order for them to work toward a common goal as our country aims to be a developed nation by the year 2020. youth have to unite and contribute towards the development and progress of the country.Furthermore Malaysia in the millenium have to make their head tunes to speed and their fxed with wheel to keep up with development. for our country to succed, we must all have one mission and one vision. remember united we satnd, divided we fall.. Love our Counttry MALAYSIA.. Merdeka!
